Description :

- Experience

- 12+ years of experience in IT, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within the oil & gas sector.

- Proven track record of managing IT and telecom operations in complex, distributed environments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Define and execute the IT and telecom strategy aligned with business goals in upstream operations.

- Leverage GenAI to streamline IT Operations and Compliance.

- Manage end-to-end IT infrastructure including data centers, networks field communications, and SCADA systems.

- Ensure high availability and reliability of telecom systems across remote and offshore sites.

- Proficiency in telecom technologies (VSAT, LTE, microwave, fiber) and industrial protocols (Modbus, OPC, etc.).

- Oversee all operations related to IT infrastructure and service delivery

- Ensure adherence to SLA/KPI targets and conduct performance reviews.

- Drive business continuity and disaster recovery planning and execution.

- Evaluate emerging technologies and conduct Proof of Concepts (POCs) for strategic adoption.

- Optimize infrastructure costs and improve operational efficiency.

- Certifications in cloud platforms (Azure/GCP), ITIL, or relevant technologies.

Cybersecurity & Compliance :

- Implement robust cybersecurity frameworks tailored to oil & gas threats (e.g., OT/ICS environments).

- Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001,OG86) and regulatory requirements.

Vendor & Stakeholder Management :

- Oversee vendor contracts, SLAs, and performance for IT and telecom services.

- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and HSE teams to align technology with field needs.

Team Leadership :

- Build and mentor a high-performing IT team with domain expertise in oil & gas.

- Foster a culture of innovation, agility, and continuous improvement.
