Role Profile : IT Manager
Job Description :
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced IT Manager to oversee the technology infrastructure and operations of our hotel. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of technical expertise and business acumen to drive technological advancements and ensure seamless operations
Role & responsibilities :
1. IT Infrastructure Management :
- Plan, implement, and maintain the hotel's IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, network systems, and telecommunications.
- Ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security of IT systems.
- Manage IT budget and procurement processes.
2. Technology Strategy :
- Develop and implement a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with the hotel's business objectives.
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies to enhance operational efficiency and guest experience.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
3. Project Management :
- Oversee IT-related projects, including system implementations, upgrades, and integrations.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
4. IT Support :
- Provide technical support to hotel staff and guests.
- Manage the IT support team and ensure timely resolution of IT issues.
- Develop and implement IT support procedures and documentation.
5. Data Security :
- Implement and maintain robust data security measures to protect sensitive guest and hotel information.
- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.
6. Team Management :
- Lead and develop the IT team.
- Set clear goals and performance expectations.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
7. Preferred Candidate Profile :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT management, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong technical expertise in network infrastructure, hardware, software.
- Proven ability to manage IT projects and budgets effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Desired Skills :
- Experience with property management systems (PMS) and other hospitality-specific software.
- Knowledge of cloud computing and visualization technologies.
- Experience in implementing IT systems in a multi-site environment.
