IT Infrastructure Manager

Job Summary :

We are seeking a seasoned and strategic IT Infrastructure Manager to lead the infrastructure operations for our leading Multinational Corporation (MNC) based in Kharadi, Pune. This leadership role demands a blend of deep, hands-on technical expertise across modern infrastructure domains (Cloud, Endpoint Management, Security) and proven excellence in People Management and Stakeholder Management. The successful candidate will be responsible for the stability, security, and scalability of the entire enterprise IT environment.

Key Responsibilities and Technical Focus :

Infrastructure Strategy and Leadership :

- Lead the entire Infrastructure team, providing strong People Management through mentorship, performance evaluation, resource planning, and career development.

- Develop and execute the strategy for IT infrastructure, ensuring alignment with global business objectives and industry best practices.

- Manage Stakeholder Management effectively, serving as the primary liaison between the technical team and business leadership, translating technical needs into business outcomes.

Endpoint Management & Deployment (SCCM/Intune) :

- Oversee and drive best practices for unified endpoint management using SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager) and Intune (Microsoft Endpoint Manager).

- Provide expert oversight on SCCM Endpoint Deployment strategies, ensuring timely, secure, and mass deployment of operating systems and updates across the enterprise.

- Direct the processes for SCCM Endpoint Application Packaging, ensuring standardization, security testing, and deployment readiness for all software releases.

Core Infrastructure Services :

- Maintain strong technical expertise and governance over enterprise Server infrastructure (physical, virtual, and hyperconverged), ensuring high availability and optimal performance.

- Manage the design, security, and operational health of core identity services, specifically AD/PKI (Active Directory/Public Key Infrastructure), including certificate lifecycle management and Group Policy deployment.

Security and Cloud Governance :

- Drive IT Security compliance and operational standards across all infrastructure layers, focusing on vulnerability management, patching strategies, and access control models.

- Oversee the management and growth of the organization's Cloud presence (e.g., Azure, AWS, or GCP), focusing on cost optimization, security posture, and leveraging native cloud services.

Required Qualifications & Skills :

Experience : Overall 1015 years of experience in IT, with a minimum of 10 years dedicated to Infrastructure Management.

Management Skills : Strong, demonstrable experience and expertise in People Management and developing high-performing technical teams.

Technical Expertise (Mandatory) : Deep technical command across all listed topics : SCCM, Intune, IT Security, AD/PKI, Enterprise Server, and Cloud platforms.

Soft Skills : Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) necessary for executive reporting and cross-functional team leadership.

Leadership : Proven ability to excel in Stakeholder Management, balancing business demands with technical feasibility and risk management.

Preferred Skills :

- Prior experience leading infrastructure teams within an MNC or complex, globally distributed environment.

- Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, Microsoft Certified : Azure Administrator, or Security certifications like CISSP).

- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) for cloud and server automation.
