Roles and Responsibilities :

Infrastructure Management :

- Manage hybrid cloud environments (AWS, Azure) and ensure seamless integration with on-prem infrastructure.

- Maintain high availability and disaster recovery strategies for critical systems, including trading platforms.

Security & Compliance :

- Implement infrastructure security best practices, patch management, and vulnerability assessments.

- Work with InfoSec team on audits, risk assessments, and incident response planning.

Vendor & Service Management :

- Monitor SLAs, evaluate new vendors, and negotiate service contracts.

Project Leadership :

- Collaborate with application, data, and support teams on cross-functional initiatives.

Monitoring & Performance :

- Analyse trends to improve system availability, reduce downtime, and optimize costs.

End-User Support :

- Define and enforce IT policies and procedures across the organization.

Qualifications :

- 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 3 years in financial services.

- Strong knowledge of networking, storage, virtualization (VMware), Windows/Linux servers.

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), M365, Active Directory, and SCCM.

- Familiarity with trading infrastructure, Bloomberg/Reuters terminals, and FIX protocols is a plus.

- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and regulatory compliance.

- Excellent communication, leadership, and vendor management skills.

- Preferred Certifications- AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Microsoft Certified:

Azure Administration, ITIL Foundation, CISSP or CISM.
