Job Description :

Summary :

We are hiring an IT Engineer to support the Production Operations of the SFMS application.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on Production Support experience and familiarity with IBM MQ and SQL.

Responsibilities :

- Monitor production systems and ensure high availability and smooth functioning of the SFMS application.

- Perform daily health checks, application validations, and system status reviews.

- Troubleshoot incidents, identify root causes, and implement resolutions within defined SLAs.

- Work with IBM MQ queuesmonitoring, debugging, and resolving message-related issues.

- Execute SQL queries for data validation, debugging, and issue analysis.

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (DBA, Network, Application teams) for issue resolution.

- Handle user requests, access management, and operational activities.

- Participate in release deployments, patch updates, and maintenance activities.

- Create and maintain documentation for processes, incident resolutions, and SOPs.

- Ensure adherence to compliance, security standards, and audit requirements.

- Provide support in a 24x7x365 rotational shift environment.

Experience Requirements :

- 2- 3 years of strong experience as a Production Support Engineer.

- Excellent communication skills and professional email etiquette.

- Ability to work in rotational shifts (24x7x365).

Technical Knowledge :

- Basic knowledge of IBM MQ, AIX Server, Windows Server.

- Ability to understand and execute SQL statements.

- Knowledge of Payment Systems (added advantage).

- Experience in the Banking domain (added advantage).
