IT Disaster Recovery Specialist - IT Automation Tools

Description :

- Lead, Execute and Audit Disaster Recovery (DR) tests for IT Services, including the underlying applications, infrastructure, documentation, tools, utilities.

- Maintain constant preparedness to ensure the successful restoration of IT Services within defined criteria in the event an actual disaster is declared.

- Implement and continuously improve DR best practices and the IT DR process.

- Monitor activities in the IT production environment to detect potential or actual disaster events.

- Work a non-standard shift to support IT-DR Tests. Friday thru Monday 4 x 10 shift.

- Collaborate with colleagues in IT Resiliency Assurance to ensure that DR is appropriately integrated with resiliency plans

Qualifications :

- Expertise in DR test planning and execution with focus on continuously improving the firms DR capabilities.

- Good knowledge of IT DR automation tools preferred.

- Strong process orientation, including familiarity with ITILs IT Service Continuity Management process and agile methodology

- Certifications in current industry-standard is a plus.

- Strong verbal/written communication, with ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of responsibility and authority.

- Must be able to prioritize, delegate and foster the development of high-performance teams to lead/support an environment driven by customer service and teamwork.

- Strong trouble-shooting and organizational skills and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

- Ability to participate in resource planning processes based on defined organizational plans.
