Responsibilities :

- Lead a team of Data Migration specialists, ensuring they have the necessary skills, resources, and support to execute data migration projects effectively.

- Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to team members, fostering a collaborative and client-focused work environment.

- Develop comprehensive data mapping and transformation plans to align data from other IP solutions in the market with the data model of the company's software solution.

- Ensure that IP-related data elements are accurately mapped and transformed to maintain data integrity and consistency during migration.

- Lead the analysis of data structures, formats, and schemas from other Intellectual Property (IP) solutions in the market.

- Understand the unique data models and features of these systems to devise effective migration strategies.

- Design, architect, and build an automation system for mapping, transforming, and migrating data from legacy systems to the company's software solution.

- Develop automation processes, workflows, and scripts to automate repetitive tasks and streamline the data migration process.

- Utilize expertise in the Intellectual Property domain to understand the nuances of IP data, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and related legal entities.

- Collaborate with legal and subject matter experts to ensure accurate interpretation and migration of IP-related data across systems.

- Work closely with technical teams to integrate the automation system into the data migration workflow, ensuring seamless execution and integration with existing systems.

- Customize and optimize automation processes to accommodate the unique data structures and requirements of IP-related data and legacy systems.

- Establish specialized quality assurance processes and test cases tailored to IP data migration, including validation of patent, trademark, and copyright information.

- Conduct rigorous testing and validation of the automation system to ensure accuracy, completeness, and reliability of data migration activities.

- Engage directly with clients to understand their specific data migration requirements, preferences, and challenges.

- Provide expert guidance and recommendations to clients regarding the migration of IP-related data, addressing concerns and ensuring alignment with client objectives.

- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to data migration and automation in the Intellectual Property domain.

- Drive innovation and continuous improvement in the automation system and methodologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of data migration initiatives.

- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that data migration initiatives meet business goals and client expectations.

- Provide input and feedback on product enhancements and features based on insights gained from other IP solution data migration experiences.

- Document migration processes, workflows, and automation procedures specific to Intellectual Property data, creating a knowledge base for future reference and training.

- Conduct knowledge sharing sessions and workshops to disseminate best practices, lessons learned, and domain-specific expertise to internal teams and clients.

Requirements :

- Candidate should have extensive experience in leading data migration projects in the context of software implementation (15+ years).

- Should have a deep understanding of data migration methodologies, tools, and best practices.

- A minimum of 10 years of experience in leadership roles.

- Should be familiar with automation tools and technologies, as well as database management systems and data integration platforms.

- Experience in the Intellectual Property (IP) domain or related industries is highly desirable.
