Core Responsibilities :

- GKE Management : Design, deploy, and manage production-grade Kubernetes clusters, including cluster roles, networking (VPC, Ingress), and workload scaling.

- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) : Use Terraform or Deployment Manager to automate the provisioning of GCP resources like VPCs, IAM roles, Cloud SQL, and GCS.

- CI/CD Pipeline Development : Build and maintain automated pipelines using Google Cloud Build, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions for seamless code integration and deployment.

- Observability & Monitoring : Set up logging and alerting using Google Cloud Operations Suite (Stackdriver), Prometheus, or Grafana to ensure system health and rapid incident response.

- Security & Compliance : Implement IAM governance, manage secrets via KMS/Secrets Manager, and enforce network security policies (firewalls, VPC service controls).

- Cost & Performance Optimization : Analyze cloud spending and optimize GKE node usage and GCP service consumption to ensure cost-efficiency.

Required Technical Skills :

- Cloud Platform : Expert-level knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.

- Containers/Orchestration : Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes (GKE), and Helm charts.

- Automation Tools : Strong proficiency in Terraform and configuration management (Ansible).

- Scripting : Proficiency in Python, Bash, or Go for custom automation and tooling.

- Networking : Deep understanding of VPCs, load balancers, DNS, and service mesh technologies like Istio
