Overview :

The AI Automation Engineer Level 2 is responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing end-to-end automation workflows that enhance MSP operations.

This role requires advanced scripting, integration skills, and the ability to mentor junior engineers while leading automation deployment projects.

Responsibilities :

- Design and build advanced automation workflows integrating PSA, RMM, and AI platforms.

- Create and maintain scripts using Python and PowerShell to streamline recurring MSP processes.

- Develop integrations using REST APIs (ConnectWise, Datto, N-able, etc.

- Architect AI-enabled workflows leveraging LLMs, RAG, and data enrichment.

- Mentor and support L1 engineers in workflow design and execution.

- Manage deployment and optimization of automation solutions with measurable business outcomes.

- Ensure compliance, data governance, and documentation across all automation projects.

Requirements :

- 3+ years of experience in IT Support, DevOps, or Automation Engineering (MSP experience preferred).

- Proficiency in Python and PowerShell.

- Strong understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, and JSON data handling.

- Experience with automation tools such as n8n, Power Automate, or Tines.

- Working knowledge of RMM/PSA systems like ConnectWise, Datto, Kaseya, or N-able.

- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts such as prompt engineering and vector databases.
