IT Administrator - DevOps

Description : We are seeking a skilled IT Administrator - DevOps to manage, automate, and optimize IT infrastructure and deployment workflows across the organization. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in system administration, cloud platforms, CI/CD, DevOps tools, and automation practices. This role involves ensuring high availability, performance, and security of IT and cloud environments while supporting ongoing development and release cycles.

Key Responsibilities :

- Manage and administer IT systems including Linux and Windows servers, cloud resources, and networking components.

- Implement and support DevOps practices, including continuous integration, continuous deployment, and automated monitoring.

- Maintain and optimize infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and automation scripts for deployments and system configuration.

- Administer cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP depending on organization requirement) including provisioning, monitoring, and performance optimization.

- Manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.

- Implement and maintain containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Perform system upgrades, patching, capacity planning, and resource monitoring.

- Ensure backup & disaster recovery strategy and execution.

- Troubleshoot and resolve system, deployment, and infrastructure issues within SLAs.

- Maintain documentation for infrastructure, configurations, deployments, and SOPs.

- Ensure compliance with security and access controls, including identity and permission management.

- Work closely with development, IT security, and product teams to support releases and infrastructure scaling.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Hands-on experience in System Administration (Linux & Windows environments).

- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP based on company environment).

- Experience with DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, etc.

- Good understanding of networking, firewalls, VPN, DNS, routing, and load balancers.

- Experience with scripting and automation using Bash, Python, PowerShell, or similar
