Ishan Technologies - Technical Lead - MERN Stack Technologies

Role Overview :

We are seeking a Senior MERN Stack Tech Lead to architect, lead, and scale full-stack product development efforts.

You will work closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, backend engineers, and DevOps to build modern, performant, and scalable web applications.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, deeply experienced in the MERN stack, and has a strong background in cloud deployment and CI/CD automation.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design and development of enterprise-grade applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js, NestJs, NextJs).

- Architect and implement RESTful APIs and backend services with scalability and performance in mind.

- Guide and mentor a team of frontend and backend developers across the product lifecycle.

- Ensure high code quality through best practices like code reviews, testing, and modular architecture.

- Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment workflows using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools.

- Manage cloud deployments (GCP/AWS/Azure) with containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and serverless where needed.

- Collaborate with DevOps teams to maintain secure, efficient, and observable production environments.

- Work closely with UI/UX designers to ensure seamless and accessible user interfaces.

Must-have Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- 68 years of software development experience with strong expertise in MERN stack.

- Proven experience in leading engineering teams and mentoring developers.

- Deep knowledge of React.js (Hooks, Redux, Context API) and Node.js/Express.js.

- Hands-on experience with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or other NoSQL/RDBMS.

- Strong understanding of CI/CD tools and practices.

- Proficiency in cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.

- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, API Gateways, and monitoring tools.

- Strong understanding of REST architecture, authentication (OAuth, JWT), and microservices.

- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Good-To-Have (Preferred) :

- Experience with GraphQL, WebSockets, or event-driven architecture.

- Exposure to AI/ML integration in web applications.

- Familiarity with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Helm).

- Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
