About the Role :

We are seeking a Server Implementation & Deployment Engineer responsible for the planning, installation, configuration, and deployment of enterprise servers and associated applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with server infrastructure, deployment automation, and troubleshooting, ensuring that servers are deployed efficiently, securely, and reliably to meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities :

- Plan, implement, and deploy enterprise servers across on-premise and cloud environments.

- Configure server hardware, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and network components.

- Deploy and configure server applications, middleware, and services following best practices and security standards.

- Automate deployment processes using PowerShell, Shell scripts, Ansible, or other deployment tools.

- Monitor and maintain server health, performance, and uptime, applying patches, updates, and security fixes as needed.

- Collaborate with DevOps, IT, and Application teams to ensure seamless deployment and integration.

- Troubleshoot server and application issues during deployment and provide root cause analysis (RCA) for incidents.

- Maintain comprehensive documentation of deployment processes, server configurations, and infrastructure diagrams.

- Ensure compliance with IT policies, governance, and security standards during implementation.

- Participate in capacity planning, backup strategies, disaster recovery planning, and server lifecycle management.

Required Skills & Expertise :

- Strong experience with server installation, configuration, and deployment (Windows Server, Linux distributions).

- Hands-on knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Experience with deployment automation tools: Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or custom scripts.

- Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python) for automation and task optimization.

- Understanding of network fundamentals, DNS, DHCP, routing, and firewall configuration.

- Experience in monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of servers and applications.

- Knowledge of security hardening, patch management, and access control mechanisms.
