We are seeking a QA Test Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, executing, and maintaining test cases, reporting defects, and collaborating with development teams to deliver high-quality software products.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, document, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing.

- Identify, document, and track software defects using defect tracking tools.

- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product managers to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.

- Participate in requirement reviews, design discussions, and sprint planning.

- Conduct manual testing and support automated testing initiatives.

- Validate software functionality across multiple browsers, platforms, and devices.

- Perform API testing using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or similar.

- Analyze test results, generate test reports, and provide recommendations for improvements.

- Ensure adherence to quality standards, processes, and best practices.

- Continuously identify opportunities to improve testing processes and automation coverage.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Proven experience in software quality assurance and testing.

- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and QA methodologies.

- Hands-on experience with manual testing and defect management.

- Familiarity with test management tools (JIRA, TestRail, Quality Center, etc.

- Experience with functional, regression, integration, and system testing.

- Basic knowledge of SQL and databases for data validation.

- Experience with API testing (REST/SOAP).

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
