Overview :

IQVIA is seeking an experienced Application Architect (React & Node.js) to drive enterprise technology transformation. This role will define scalable architecture, lead engineering teams, and ensure alignment with global business and operational objectives.

Key Responsibilities :

Architecture & Platform Engineering :

- Design and architect scalable web and data platforms on Azure/AWS.

- Own end-to-end application architecture with focus on performance, cost efficiency, and business alignment.

- Build microservices-based, modular, and scalable systems.

- Develop secure, well-documented APIs for enterprise applications.

Technical Leadership :

- Convert complex technical concepts into clear communication for all stakeholders.

- Present architecture roadmaps, business cases, and release priorities to leadership.

- Lead SDLC from requirement gathering to deployment and support.

- Conduct code reviews, enforce engineering best practices, and mentor teams.

Innovation & Standards :

- Stay updated on modern technologies and influence architecture evolution.

- Define and enforce architectural standards and development guidelines.

- Contribute to R&D initiatives and support project delivery using standard frameworks.

Required Qualifications :

- 10+ years in IT with at least 4 years designing enterprise web & data management solutions.

- Experience building cloud-native enterprise applications.

- Background in commercial data management within the pharmaceutical domain.

- Experience leading global cross-functional implementation teams.

Technical Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience with React, Node.js, MongoDB, Snowflake, Databricks, Docker, Kubernetes.

- Proficiency in Azure and/or AWS cloud ecosystems.

- Experience implementing security protocols such as SSO.

- Knowledge of batch processing, data modeling, and BI/analytics integration.

- Understanding of modern software development tools and AI-driven engineering practices.

Education :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
