iQGateway - Lead System Administrator - Windows/Linux Server

About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced Information Technology System Administrator to lead and manage the companys IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations, system reliability, and robust security. The role demands a strong technical background, leadership capabilities, and expertise in managing both on-premise and cloud-based systems.

Key Responsibilities (KRA) :

- Manage and maintain Ubuntu/Linux and Windows servers ensuring high availability and security.

- Administer VMware, Active Directory, Azure, and Office 365 environments.

- Configure and manage DNS, DHCP, Cisco switches, and FortiGate firewalls.

- Oversee the setup, monitoring, and maintenance of rack servers, laptops, desktops, Wi-Fi, and routers.

- Lead IT onboarding, user access management, and IT asset lifecycle management.

- Ensure system backups, disaster recovery planning, and security compliance.

- Troubleshoot and resolve system, network, and application-related issues.

- Collaborate with internal teams to support IT needs and optimize system performance.

- Document processes, create knowledge base articles, and maintain system architecture diagrams.

Required Skillsets :

- Proven expertise in system and network administration with 710 years of hands-on experience.

- Strong knowledge of Ubuntu/Linux and Windows server administration.

- Proficiency in VMware virtualization, Active Directory management, Azure, and Office 365 administration.

- Experience managing DNS, DHCP, Cisco networking devices, and FortiGate firewalls.

- Skilled in handling IT assets, onboarding processes, and security best practices.

- Understanding of CI/CD pipeline setup, GitLab, Jenkins, SonarQube, Harbor, and Docker (added advantage).
