Job Description

Job Summary :


We are looking for an experienced and innovative IoT Solutions Architect to lead the design and deployment of end-to-end Internet of Things (IoT) solutions. In this role, you will define system architecture, select appropriate technologies, and guide cross-functional teams through the development of scalable, secure, and cost-effective IoT systems across devices, connectivity, platforms, and data layers.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and architect IoT solutions across device, network, cloud, and application layers.

- Define technical standards and architecture for IoT projects in collaboration with stakeholders.

- Select appropriate hardware, sensors, communication protocols (e.g., MQTT, CoAP, BLE, LoRaWAN), and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS IoT, Azure IoT, Google Cloud IoT).

- Oversee integration of embedded systems with cloud services, analytics platforms, and enterprise systems.

- Lead POCs (Proof of Concepts) and pilot deployments to validate technology choices.

- Ensure security, scalability, reliability, and maintainability of IoT systems.

- Collaborate with software developers, hardware engineers, data scientists, and product

managers to align on architecture and delivery goals.

- Stay up-to-date on the latest trends in IoT, edge computing, and emerging standards.

- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and documentation throughout the development

lifecycle.

Required Skills & Qualifications :


- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.


- 5+ years of experience in solution architecture, with at least 23 years in IoT-specific projects.

- Strong knowledge of embedded systems, microcontrollers (e.g., STM32, ESP32), and real-time operating systems (RTOS).

- Experience with IoT communication protocols (MQTT, HTTP, CoAP, Zigbee, NB-IoT, etc.).

- Proficiency in cloud-based IoT platforms (e.g., AWS IoT Core, Azure IoT Hub, GCP IoT Core).

- Solid understanding of security best practices for IoT systems (encryption, authentication, OTA updates).


- Familiarity with edge computing and fog architectures.

- Experience with data ingestion, storage, and analytics pipelines for IoT data.

- Excellent communication skills to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical

stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications :


- Certifications in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud IoT services.


- Experience with AI/ML integration in IoT use cases.

- Knowledge of industrial protocols like Modbus, OPC-UA, BACnet.

- Hands-on experience with digital twin technologies.

- Prior experience with Smart Home, Smart Manufacturing, or Connected Health applications.
