IoT Quality Assurance Engineer - Manual Testing

Location : Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai and Pune. Experience -4+.

Responsibilities :

Must have :

- IoT domain/testing experience (IoT cloud to device/device to cloud preferably in Azure).

- Fundamental understanding of Azure Blobstorage, Iot Hub, Keyvault, Devops pipelines, DPS (Device provisioning service).

- Good experience with Python scripting.

Nice to have : Life science domain, Validation testing experience, Pytest, JIRA.

Main Responsibilities :

- Perform manual testing of IoT mobile/web applications, backend APIs, and device firmware

- Create and execute test cases across platforms (app, backend, firmware)

- Log and track bugs using standard defect tracking tools

- Work closely with developers, product managers, and embedded teams

- Strong understanding of QA processes, SDLC, and test documentation

- Experience testing IoT applications or systems involving device + cloud integration

- Familiarity with API testing, JSON, and basic network troubleshooting

- Good communication and coordination skills

Preferred Skills (Good to Have) :

- Experience working with embedded systems or firmware

- Exposure to tools like Postman, Jira, TestRail, etc.

- Understanding of backend services, API logs, or MQTT protocols
