We are currently developing AceTime, a next-generation communication platform that combines the best of FaceTime and WhatsApp with the intelligence of AI.

AceTime will deliver live video/audio calling, real-time AI assistance, instant transcription and summaries, contextual memory, and seamless connectivity to transform how people communicate globally.

Position Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled iOS Engineer to lead the development of AceTimes minimum viable product (MVP).

This role requires a hands-on builder who can rapidly turn ideas into scalable, high-performance products.

You will work closely with the founder, drive technical decisions, and help shape the future of AI-powered communication.

Key Responsibilities :

- End-to-end iOS app development : Design, develop, test, and launch the AceTime MVP on iOS (from prototype to TestFlight release).

- Feature implementation : Build and optimize key features, including :

1. Real-time video/audio calling

2. Live transcription overlays and AI-generated meeting summaries

3. AI-assisted group and direct messaging

4. Persistent contextual memory for contacts

- Collaboration and strategy : Work directly with the founder to define product roadmap, prioritize features, and iterate quickly based on feedback.

- Scalability and reliability : Ensure high performance, low latency, and robust privacy measures to support a global user base.

- Technical leadership : Stay updated on emerging iOS and AI technologies, advocating best practices for code quality and system architecture.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Proven experience in iOS app development using Swift and SwiftUI.

- Strong expertise in real-time communication technologies (WebRTC, CallKit, VoIP).

- Backend development experience (Node.js, Python, or similar) for call handling and messaging infrastructure.

- Hands-on experience integrating AI/ML APIs (OpenAI, Whisper, speech-to-text, NLP).

- Solid understanding of real-time messaging systems (WebSockets, Firebase, or similar).

- Strong grasp of data privacy, security, and compliance in communication apps.

Nice-to-Have :

- Knowledge of video streaming optimization and low-latency architecture.

- Experience scaling apps to global audiences.

- Background in building social, messaging, or AI-driven applications.

- Strong sense of design and ability to create intuitive, user-friendly interfaces.
