Role & Responsibilities:
- Build and ship features in the District iOS app across ticketing, events, dining and payments.
- Write clean, readable Swift that your teammates can maintain and build on.
- Translate designs and product requirements into smooth, responsive UI using UIKit and Auto Layout.
- Integrate REST APIs and handle data with URLSession, JSON parsing and Core Data.
- Handle real-world scale and edge cases loading states, errors, offline behaviour, and the high-traffic moments when a big event or ticket drop goes live.
- Debug, profile and fix issues; keep the app fast, stable and crash-free.
- Take part in code reviews both giving and receiving feedback.
- Work closely with product, design and backend to scope and deliver features end to end.
- Chip away at tech debt and push for clean architecture and best practices.
- Stay current with iOS updates, tools and patterns, and bring good ideas back to the team.
Ideal Candidate:
- Strong early-career iOS Developer Profile with hands-on Swift and UIKit experience.
- Mandatory (Experience 1): Must have 02 years of experience building iOS apps, with at least 6 months of hands-on experience (internship experience counts for freshers).
- Mandatory (Experience 2): Must have built two or more apps; anything live on the App Store is a strong plus.
- Mandatory (Skill 1): Must have a solid grip on Swift and UIKit.
- Mandatory (Skill 2): Must be familiar with iOS fundamentals Core Data, URLSession / networking, JSON parsing, multithreading (GCD), and Auto Layout.
- Mandatory (Skill 3): Must be comfortable with an app architecture pattern (MVC / MVVM) and Git.
- Mandatory (Company Background): Must come from a strong B2C product company.
- Mandatory (Education): Must have a B.Tech from a Tier-1 college IITs, NITs, BITS Pilani, IIITs, or equivalent premier institutes.
