We are looking for an experienced iOS Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality native iOS applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Swift, UIKit, SwiftUI, iOS SDKs, and mobile application architecture. You will work closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and backend developers to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing mobile applications.
The role requires excellent problem-solving skills, a strong understanding of Apple's development ecosystem, and experience building applications that provide an exceptional user experience.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Application Development :
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain native iOS applications using Swift.
- Develop clean, reusable, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
- Build responsive, intuitive, and user-friendly mobile interfaces using UIKit and SwiftUI.
- Develop new features while maintaining and enhancing existing applications.
- Optimize application performance, responsiveness, and memory usage.
- Ensure seamless integration with backend APIs and third-party services.
2. Software Design & Architecture :
- Implement scalable application architectures such as MVC, MVVM, or Clean Architecture.
- Participate in system design discussions and technical planning.
- Create modular, reusable components that improve development efficiency.
- Ensure application security and adherence to Apple's development guidelines.
- Write unit tests and integration tests to ensure code quality.
3. API & Integration :
- Integrate RESTful APIs and web services.
- Handle JSON parsing, networking, authentication, and secure data exchange.
- Integrate third-party SDKs, payment gateways, analytics tools, and push notification services.
- Work with local storage technologies such as Core Data, SQLite, and UserDefaults.
- Ensure secure handling of user data and application credentials.
4. Performance Optimization :
- Analyze and optimize application performance, startup time, battery consumption, and memory utilization.
- Troubleshoot crashes, bugs, and production issues.
- Monitor application stability and improve user experience through continuous enhancements.
- Optimize applications for different iPhone and iPad devices.
5. Collaboration :
- Work closely with Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, QA Engineers, and Backend Developers.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams for application deployment and CI/CD implementation.
6. Quality Assurance :
- Perform unit testing, debugging, and code optimization.
- Ensure applications meet Apple's App Store guidelines and quality standards.
- Maintain proper documentation for application features and technical implementations.
- Support production releases and post-deployment monitoring.
Required Skills :
- Strong experience in iOS application development.
- Excellent proficiency in Swift.
- Hands-on experience with UIKit and SwiftUI.
- Strong understanding of the iOS SDK and Apple development ecosystem.
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs and JSON-based services.
- Knowledge of Auto Layout, Storyboards, and Interface Builder.
- Experience with Xcode, CocoaPods, Swift Package Manager, and Git.
- Familiarity with Core Data, UserDefaults, and local storage mechanisms.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.
- Understanding of mobile application security best practices.
Preferred Skills :
- Experience with Combine, Async/Await, or Reactive programming.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for iOS applications.
- Experience integrating Firebase services such as Analytics, Crashlytics, and Push Notifications.
- Knowledge of Unit Testing and UI Testing frameworks.
- Understanding of App Store deployment and release management.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 6 to 9 years of experience in native iOS application development.
- Experience developing enterprise-grade or consumer-facing mobile applications.
- Strong portfolio of published applications.
