Role Overview :

As an iOS Developer, you will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining native iOS applications that deliver an exceptional user experience. You will work closely with product owners, UI/UX designers, backend engineers, and QA teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions. This role requires strong hands-on coding skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, test, and maintain native iOS applications using Swift and/or Objective-C

- Build reusable, modular, and scalable code following best practices and coding standards

- Collaborate with product managers and designers to understand requirements and convert them into technical implementations

- Integrate RESTful APIs, third-party SDKs, and backend services

- Ensure optimal performance, memory management, and battery efficiency of applications

- Implement secure data storage solutions and handle sensitive user data responsibly

- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve application defects and performance issues

- Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members

- Ensure compliance with Apples Human Interface Guidelines and App Store review policies

- Manage app publishing, versioning, and release cycles on the Apple App Store

- Write unit tests and support automation testing to improve code quality

- Continuously research and evaluate new iOS technologies and frameworks

- Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives

- Collaborate with QA teams to ensure high-quality deliverables

- Provide post-release support, bug fixes, and enhancements as required

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 2-7 years of professional experience in iOS application development

- Strong expertise in Swift (Objective-C knowledge is a plus)

- Solid understanding of UIKit, Auto Layout, Storyboard/XIB

- Experience with iOS architectural patterns such as MVC, MVVM, or VIPER

- Proficiency in integrating RESTful APIs and handling JSON data

- Hands-on experience with local data storage solutions like Core Data, SQLite, UserDefaults

- Familiarity with multithreading, Grand Central Dispatch (GCD), and background tasks

- Knowledge of memory management and performance optimization techniques

- Experience with Git or other version control systems

- Understanding of the complete mobile application development lifecycle

- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment

Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills :

- Experience with SwiftUI and modern iOS development practices

- Knowledge of Combine, RxSwift, or reactive programming concepts

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Fastlane, Bitrise, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions

- Familiarity with push notifications, deep linking, and in-app purchases

- Experience with analytics and crash reporting tools (Firebase, Crashlytics, App Center, etc.)

- Exposure to cross-platform frameworks or SDK development

- Understanding of mobile security best practices

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments
