Role Overview :

As a Senior QA Engineer at Ionixx Technologies, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test strategies and automation frameworks. Working closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders, you will identify and resolve defects, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance. Your contributions will directly impact the user experience and the success of our business.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement robust test automation frameworks using industry-standard tools and technologies to improve testing efficiency and coverage.

- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on software requirements and design specifications to ensure product quality.

- Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to identify defects and ensure that software meets specified requirements.

- Collaborate with developers and product managers to analyze and resolve defects, ensuring timely resolution and high-quality software releases.

- Implement and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to automate testing processes and improve release velocity.

- Contribute to the development and maintenance of QA standards, processes, and best practices to ensure consistent quality across all projects.

- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to developers to improve code quality and prevent defects.

- Mentor and guide junior QA engineers, providing technical expertise and support to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing test automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, RestAssured, and Cucumber.

- Proficient in writing and executing SQL queries to validate data integrity and perform database testing.

- Hands-on experience with BDD Cucumber for writing clear and concise test specifications.

- Solid understanding of API testing using POSTMAN and RestAssured.

- Experience with testing message queues and streaming platforms like Kafka.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex defects.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

- Ability to work independently and remotely, managing time effectively and meeting deadlines.

- 8 to 12 years of relevant experience.
