Ionic Consultant - Cordova

About the Role :

We are looking for a highly skilled and self-driven Ionic Consultant (Developer) to join our mobile development team.

In this role, you will be responsible for building, enhancing, and maintaining cross-platform mobile applications using Ionic and Angular frameworks.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver performant and scalable hybrid apps that provide a seamless user experience across Android and iOS platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, test, and deploy hybrid mobile applications using Ionic Framework (v3+ through the latest versions) and Angular.

- Integrate mobile apps with native device functionalities using Capacitor and Cordova plugins.

- Collaborate with backend developers and UI/UX designers to implement and enhance mobile user interfaces and APIs.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize app performance across multiple platforms and devices.

- Build reusable components and libraries for future use and scalability.

- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and contribute to design decisions.

- Manage application releases and ensure continuous integration/delivery using Git and CI/CD pipelines.

- Maintain code quality by adhering to clean coding practices, architectural standards, and unit testing.

- Ensure mobile applications comply with security, performance, and quality standards.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 5+ years of professional experience in hybrid mobile app development using Ionic Framework, including legacy versions (Ionic 3/4) and the latest (Ionic 5/6+).

- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

- In-depth understanding and hands-on experience with Angular (v6+).

- Proven experience working with Capacitor, Cordova, and native device plugins.

- Familiarity with mobile build tools and deployment processes for Android (Android Studio) and iOS (Xcode).

- Proficient in using Git, GitHub/GitLab, and managing CI/CD workflows.

- Solid experience in RESTful API integration and handling mobile-side data caching, storage (SQLite, IndexedDB), and synchronization.

- Knowledge of mobile performance optimization, memory management, and debugging tools (Chrome DevTools, Safari Debugger, etc.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a passion for delivering high-quality mobile applications
