About the Role :

We are looking for a Test Lead with strong expertise in quality assurance, automation frameworks, and modern testing strategies. The ideal candidate will combine hands-on technical skills with leadership capabilities to drive end-to-end QA strategy, mentor team members, and bring innovation through AI-based testing techniques.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead QA strategy, planning, execution, and delivery for complex applications, ensuring high-quality and timely releases.

- Design and implement scalable test automation frameworks to support web, API, and mobile testing.

- Manage and mentor a team of QA engineers, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Development, DevOps, and Product to define testing scope and integrate automation seamlessly into CI/CD pipelines.

- Leverage AI-based testing techniques, including :

- Generative AI for automated test case generation.

- Defect prediction and intelligent test selection to optimize coverage.

- Validation of AI/ML model outputs to ensure robust testing of intelligent systems.

- Establish and track quality metrics to identify risks early and implement mitigation strategies.

- Ensure comprehensive test coverage across UI, API, backend, and mobile platforms.

- Drive adoption of new testing tools, frameworks, and methodologies to improve efficiency and quality.

Key Qualifications :

- 7 to 12 years of experience in Quality Assurance, with minimum 5 years in test automation and framework development.

- Proven experience in leading QA efforts and mentoring team members.

- Strong hands-on expertise with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, and REST API automation tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured).

- Experience in mobile automation using Appium or similar tools.

- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or TypeScript.

- In-depth knowledge of STLC, automation principles, and software quality best practices.

- Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.).

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to lead technical discussions and influence decisions.

- Exposure to AI-assisted testing techniques and/or interest in applying AI/ML to testing processes.

Nice to Have :

- Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Familiarity with performance, security, or accessibility testing.

- Experience working in product-based or large-scale enterprise environments.
