About the Role :

We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer with a strong foundation in Java or Python programming, who is passionate about building scalable, reliable, and high-performance systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with modern DevOps practices, cloud infrastructure, and container orchestration tools.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and manage robust monitoring, alerting, and logging systems to ensure system reliability and observability

- Lead and manage incident response, conduct root cause analysis, and drive continuous improvements

- Handle cloud migration and integration efforts between on-premise and cloud-based systems (preferably AWS)

- Develop scripts and automation tools using Java/Python to streamline operational workflows and reduce manual intervention

- Deploy, manage, and scale containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes

- Collaborate with engineering teams to support the deployment of microservices architectures

- Work with messaging systems such as Solace Appliance (Physical and Software), Flume, and Kafka

- Interact with and manage data in storage systems like Elasticsearch, Druid, HDFS, HBase, and Google BigTable

Key Requirements :

- 1-6 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering roles

- Strong experience with Linux system administration

- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services

- In-depth understanding of Kubernetes and containerization best practices

- Programming proficiency in Java or Python

- Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems

- Exposure to data and messaging technologies as mentioned above

- Strong proficiency in programming language with solid experience in Java or Python and Microservices development.

Good to Have :

- Certifications in AWS or Kubernetes

- Experience in CI/CD toolchains

- Familiarity with infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)
