Job Purpose :

To design, deploy, manage, and support scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

The role involves automation, infrastructure management, and supporting mission-critical workloads, while also contributing to multi-cloud strategies involving AWS or Azure as needed.

Certifications :

Good to Have :

- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Certified Architect Associate or Professional

Nice to Have :

- AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate

Experience :

- 4 to 7 years of relevant experience in Cloud Engineering with strong hands-on expertise in OCI.

- Exposure to AWS or Azure is a strong plus.

Responsibilities (includes All Tasks) :

- Design and implement infrastructure solutions on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)

- Deploy and manage OCI core services such as Compute, Networking, Load Balancers, Object Storage, and Databases

- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Ansible, or OCI Resource Manager If required

- Configure VCN, subnets, routing, NAT, DRG, and secure communication channels

- Implement and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and high availability strategies

- Monitor system performance and resource utilization using OCI Monitoring and Logging.

- Collaborate with application and security teams to support deployment and maintenance

- Contribute to cloud migration projects, including lift-and-shift or re-architecture

- Ensure security best practices including data encryption (in transit and at rest), IAM configuration, and key management

- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and cloud architecture diagrams

- Provide L2/L3 support for cloud-related incidents and requests

- Support hybrid or multi-cloud environments when required (AWS/Azure)

- Participate in cost optimization and governance practices

- Ready to work 24\7 rotational Shift.

Technical Skills /Competencies :

MANDATORY :

- Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)

- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.)

- Scripting skills: Shell / Bash / Python / PowerShell

- Strong knowledge of cloud networking (VCN, routing, security lists, firewalls)

- OCI IAM roles, policies, and access control

- Logging, monitoring, and alerting on OCI

- Backup and DR design on OCI

- Linux system administration and troubleshooting

OPTIONAL :

- Exposure to AWS or Azure platform

- Oracle Database Cloud Services management

- Kubernetes / Docker / OCI Container Engine (OKE)

- CI/CD pipeline integration using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions

- Hybrid or multi-cloud experience

- Oracle EBS or Fusion Apps on OCI

- Cloud cost analysis and optimization tools

MANDATORY :

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

- Adaptability in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
