- Intelligence Node is looking for an experienced Senior Software Automation Test Engineer who can seamlessly handle testing and verification.

Specifically, you will :

- Develop functional and performance test plans and cases for internal and external-facing software systems.

- Drive improvements in software engineering practices across engineering teams.

- Build tools and frameworks for automated testing.

Candidate Profile :

- 59 years in QA/Automation with 3+ years hands-on Cypress (JS/TS).

- Strong with POM, data-driven tests, custom commands, intercepts, stubs/mocks, and handling dynamic elements/retries.

- Solid TypeScript/JavaScript fundamentals (modules, async/await, promises).

- Proven CI/CD experience (any of : GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins) with artifacts and parallelization.

- Experience with API testing (Cypress request flows), JSON assertions, schema/contract validation.

- Comfortable with git, branching strategies, pull requests, and code reviews.

- Exposure to BrowserStack or similar cross-browser platforms.

- Clear, concise communicator; can turn ambiguous requirements into testable scenarios.

Nice to Have :

- Cucumber/BDD with Cypress (@badeball/-), Allure/Mochawesome dashboards.

- Node.js scripting for test data and utilities.

- Dockerized test execution; basic Kubernetes familiarity.

- Performance basics (Lighthouse/Web Vitals) and accessibility tooling (axe).

- SQL basics for test verification (e.g., Postgres/MySQL).

Tools & Stack (typical) : Cypress (JS/TS), Node.js, npm/yarn, Git, CI (GitHub/GitLab/Jenkins/Azure), Allure/Mochawesome, BrowserStack/Sauce, Postman/Insomnia, ESLint/Prettier, Docker.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Strong problem solving and trouble shooting skills and an ability to come up with creative solutions to impossible-to-solve problems.

- Experience with testings Angular / Ruby on Rails based web applications is a Plus.

- Experience with testing mobile apps.

- Past success with being a forward thinker and an advocate for the customer.
