Requirements :


- At least 5 years of relevant experience.

- Automotive experience.

- Testing HMI/navigation.

- Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile.

- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

- Experience with test management tools.

- Very good communication skills in English.

- Demonstrate expertise in designing and developing tests, including Integration Tests, Acceptance Tests, and Performance Tests.

- Map requirements, understand user acceptance criteria, and convert user stories into tangible test cases.

- Plan, create, and manage test cases, test suites.

- Efficiently troubleshoot the environment and debug logs.

- Do manual testing as required including HW based testing.

Nice to have :


- Experience in test automation using scripting (python) OR any other automation technologies like Java.

- Willing to learn and grow in test automation area as it becomes important with AI coming.

Responsibilities :


- Take ownership and responsibility for the design and development of all aspects of testing.

- Work on acceptance criteria and test scenarios with the Product Owner and development team.

- Design, execute, and maintain test scenarios.

- Creation of test plans for in-car navigation app testing.

- Setting up test activities in the project: test environment, processes, methods.

- Bug reporting.

- Work with HW devices in the lab.

- Creation and review of test documentation.

- Review of requirements.

- Performing software updates to the test benches.

- Daily testing on test benches in the lab.

- Executing test plans/test suites based on priorities provided by Test Manager/Test Lead.

- Supporting the engineering team by testing dev-drops.

- Collaborating with a car manufacturer or IVI system development team.

- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of system and actively participate in test case reviews and other STLC activities.

- Communicate complex technical solutions clearly to program stakeholders, including both technical and non-technical individuals.

- Create technical documentation considering customer requirements and project architecture.

- Estimate timelines for implementing changes, such as adding or modifying existing code components.

- Interpret defect burn down charts and manipulate data for defect management purposes.
