About the Role :

We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced SAP PP (Production Planning) Consultant with expertise in both ECC and S/4 HANA modules to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP PP processes to optimize manufacturing and production operations.

You will work closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical consultants to deliver solutions that enhance production efficiency and integration with other SAP modules.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead end-to-end implementation and support of SAP PP module on ECC and S/4 HANA platforms.

- Configure SAP PP functionalities including demand management, material requirements planning (MRP), production orders, capacity planning, and shop floor control.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (MM, SD, QM, WM, PM) to ensure seamless integration of SAP PP with other modules.

- Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP PP solutions and workflows.

- Conduct gap analysis, prepare functional specifications, and participate in solution design.

- Support testing activities including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to SAP PP.

- Provide training and documentation to end-users and key stakeholders.

- Keep abreast of the latest SAP PP innovations, especially related to S/4 HANA and Industry 4.

- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production planning processes.

- Coordinate with technical teams for custom development and system upgrades.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.

- Minimum of 5 years experience as an SAP PP Consultant with hands-on experience in both ECC and S/4 HANA modules.

- Strong knowledge of SAP PP processes including Production Orders, MRP, BOM, Routing, Work Centers, Capacity Planning, and Shop Floor Control.

- Experience with SAP PP integration with MM, SD, QM, and other modules.

- Understanding of manufacturing processes and production planning concepts.

- Experience in configuring and supporting SAP PP in both on-premises and cloud environments.

- Ability to gather and analyze business requirements and document functional specifications.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with business users and technical teams.

- Experience with SAP Activate methodology and Agile project delivery is a plus.

- Knowledge of SAP Fiori apps related to PP is an advantage
