Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Integration Business Analyst to analyze, define, and document business and technical requirements for system integrations across enterprise platforms.
This role acts as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring seamless data exchange, process automation, and interoperability between internal and external systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with business stakeholders to understand integration needs and business processes
- Elicit, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements for system integrations
- Translate business requirements into clear technical specifications, interface requirements, and data mappings
- Analyze existing systems, APIs, middleware, and data flows to identify integration opportunities and gaps
- Define integration use cases, workflows, and end-to-end process flows
- Support integration patterns such as REST/SOAP APIs, event-driven, batch, and real-time integrations
- Create and maintain detailed documentation including :
- Business Requirement Documents (BRD)
- Functional Requirement Documents (FRD)
- Interface Control Documents (ICD)
- Data mapping and transformation specifications
- Develop process diagrams, sequence diagrams, and integration flow diagrams
- Act as a liaison between business users, integration architects, developers, QA, and vendors
- Facilitate workshops, walkthroughs, and design discussions
- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment across teams
- Support integration testing, system testing, and UAT
- Develop test scenarios, test cases, and validation criteria for integrations
- Assist in defect triage and resolution during testing cycles
- Support change requests, impact analysis, and release planning for integrations
- Ensure proper versioning and documentation of integration changes
- Assist in deployment coordination and post-production support
Required Skills & Qualifications :
Core Skills :
- Strong experience as a Business Analyst in system integration projects
- Solid understanding of system integration concepts and architectures
- Ability to translate complex business processes into technical integration requirements
Technical Knowledge :
- Experience with APIs (REST, SOAP), JSON, XML
- Understanding of middleware / integration platforms (MuleSoft, Boomi, TIBCO, Informatica, Dell Boomi, Azure Integration Services, etc.)
- Knowledge of message queues and event-driven systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ preferred)
- Experience with data mapping, transformation, and validation
- Basic understanding of SQL and databases
