About the Role :

We are looking for a talented IBM ELM Plugin Developer with 7+ years of experience in plugin and Java development.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building plugins for Rational Team Concert (RTC), integrating them with other tools using RESTful APIs, and working with IBM ELM solutions.

The candidate should be familiar with version control systems, lifecycle collaboration standards, and software development methodologies.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain plugins for Rational Team Concert (RTC) within the IBM ELM ecosystem.

- Create and consume RESTful APIs to enable seamless integrations with external tools and services.

- Work on automation and scripting tasks using Python (preferred but not mandatory).

- Use Git-based version control systems to manage code repositories, branches, and deployments.

- Apply knowledge of Open Services for Lifecycle Collaboration (OSLC) for integrating lifecycle management tools.

- Collaborate with stakeholders and development teams to align plugin features with business needs.

- Follow software development best practices and participate in Agile frameworks such as SCRUM, Waterfall, or SAFe.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 7+ years of experience in plugin development and Java programming.

- Proven experience in developing plugins for Rational Team Concert (RTC).

- Strong knowledge of RESTful API design and implementation.

- Working knowledge of IBM ELM tools and integration architecture.

- Familiarity with Git-based version control systems.

- Understanding of Open Services for Lifecycle Collaboration (OSLC) standards and usage.

- Proficiency in Python scripting for automation and development (good to have).

- Awareness of software development methodologies including SCRUM, Waterfall, and SAFe.

- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a remote, collaborative environment.
