About the role :

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Automation Tester - Selenium - to join one of our clients.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing automated tests using Selenium to ensure the quality and reliability of our cutting-edge software applications.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop and maintain robust automation test suites using Selenium and other testing frameworks

- Code automated test for Web applications

- Code automated test for API

- Build automated testing framework

- Setup and configure a continuous testing process

- Ensure the quality of testing for all delivered developments and upgrades

- Provide accurate estimates for all work as required

- Provide sufficient detail to development to facilitate the optimal resolution of bugs and provide any further

assistance required

- Effective prioritization and meeting deadlines

- Continuously improve the automation framework and identify ways to optimize test efficiency

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand application requirements and identify opportunities for automation

- Troubleshoot and debug automation scripts to identify and resolve issues

- Assist in the creation of detailed test plans, test cases and test reports

- Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in software testing and automation

Required Skills :

- Proven 4-8 years of experience as a QA Automated Testing - Selenium.

- Proficiency in Gherkin/Cucumber.

- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java (preferably) or optionally Angular/Cobol.

- Understanding automated testing tools and frameworks.

- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.

- Experience with performance and load testing tools.

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integration tools.

- Understanding development processes associated with an understanding of automation in testing.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills :

- Work experience in the Finance, banking, or insurance industry is preferred.

- Certification ITIL is a PLUS.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
