Job Summary :

The ideal candidate will be passionate about quality, possess strong technical skills in test automation, and

have a proven track record of delivering robust and reliable software.

You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our [mention type of products, e.g., web applications, mobile apps, backend services] by designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test strategies and automated test suites.

Key Responsibilities :

Test Strategy & Planning :

- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and define comprehensive test strategies, plans, and cases for new features and existing functionalities.

- Participate in requirement reviews, design discussions, and sprint planning sessions to provide early feedback on testability and potential risks.

Test Automation Development :

- Implement and maintain API automation tests using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or Rest Assured.

- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) to enable continuous testing.

Test Execution & Reporting :

- Accurately document, track, and manage defects through their lifecycle using defect tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).

- Generate clear and concise test reports, providing insights into product quality and release readiness.

Performance & Security Testing :

- Contribute to security testing efforts by identifying common vulnerabilities and executing relevant test cases.

Process Improvement & Mentorship :

- Contribute to the development and enhancement of the overall QA framework and best practices.

- Mentor junior QA engineers, sharing knowledge and promoting a culture of quality.

Collaboration & Communication :

- Communicate test progress, results, and risks effectively to all stakeholders.

Required Technical Skills :

Experience :

- 4-5 years of hands-on experience in Quality Assurance and Software Testing.

- Strong proficiency with at least one major test automation framework (e.g., Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, Cypress, Protractor).

- Solid coding skills in at least one of the following : Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#.

- Expertise in testing RESTful APIs using tools like Postman, SoapUI, Rest Assured, or similar.

- Hands-on experience with tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, Zephyr, or similar.

- Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or K6.

- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker.
