Role Summary :

The Data Architect is responsible for designing and supporting modern data architectures that enable efficient data processing, integration, and analytics. The role focuses on building scalable data pipelines, managing structured and unstructured data, and enabling business insights through reliable and well-designed data solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and support data architecture solutions for analytics and reporting use cases

- Build and manage structured and unstructured data models on scalable platforms

- Develop and maintain end-to-end data pipelines for batch and near real-time processing

- Integrate data from multiple internal and external data sources

- Perform data extraction, transformation, cleansing, and validation

- Support proof-of-concepts and prototypes for new data solutions

- Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability across systems

- Collaborate with analytics, engineering, and business teams to understand data needs

- Document data flows, architecture designs, and standards

Required Skill Sets :

- Strong understanding of data architecture and data engineering fundamentals

- Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases

- Knowledge of ETL/ELT concepts and data pipeline development

- Exposure to big data or cloud-based data platforms

- Experience with SQL and basic data modeling techniques

- Understanding of data processing frameworks and analytics workflows

- Familiarity with data quality, governance, and security concepts

- Analytical and problem-solving skills

- Good communication and collaboration abilities

Qualifications :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

- 23 years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or analytics roles

- Certification or professional training in Data Engineering or Analytics is an added advantage
