Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced SDE 1/2/3 - MERN Stack Developer who will play a key role in building scalable products and leading a small team of engineers. The role requires strong technical ownership, mentoring capabilities, and collaboration across product and business teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and own end-to-end features using MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).

- Provide technical leadership and guide a team of 3-6 developers.

- Review code, enforce best practices, and ensure high-quality deliverables.

- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

- Drive architectural decisions and improve system scalability, reliability, and performance.

- Mentor junior engineers and support their technical growth.

- Participate in sprint planning, estimations, and technical discussions.

- Ensure timely delivery while maintaining code quality and system stability.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 2- 8 years of hands-on experience in full-stack development using MERN stack.

- Strong expertise in JavaScript, ES6+, and modern front-end frameworks.

- Advanced experience with React.js, state management, and performance optimization.

- Strong backend experience with Node.js and Express.js.

- Hands-on experience with MongoDB, data modeling, and query optimization.

- Experience leading or mentoring development teams.

- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, authentication, and security best practices.

- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and agile methodologies.

- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Good to Have :

- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.

- Exposure to microservices and event-driven architecture.

- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or container-based deployments.

- Prior experience in fintech or insurtech domain.
