We are looking for a Head of Data Scientist to join the founding AI team and build our AI Labs from scratch. This leader will define the AI strategy, technical architecture, and ML roadmap, while building a high-performing team and delivering high-impact AI initiatives. The role will own the ML roadmap across multiple brands, including InsuranceDekho, Elevest, and Heph, and work closely with product and engineering teams to build scalable AI-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Define and drive the AI/ML roadmap aligned with business goals.

- Identify high-impact AI use cases and convert them into scalable solutions.

- Lead development in NLP, LLMs, Generative AI, and predictive modeling.

- Own the end-to-end ML lifecycle (data preparation training evaluation deployment monitoring).

- Design scalable ML pipelines and model-serving architectures.

- Implement MLOps best practices for production-grade AI systems.

- Mentor and lead a team of data scientists and ML engineers.

- Collaborate with product, engineering, and leadership teams to deliver AI-powered solutions.

Requirements :

- Strong programming expertise in Python

- Experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow

- Hands-on experience with LLMs (OpenAI, LLaMA)

- Experience with the Hugging Face ecosystem

- Strong SQL and data analysis skills

- Experience deploying ML models in production environments

- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)

- Strong background in NLP, Generative AI, and deep learning

Experience :

- Proven experience taking ML models from concept to production (0?1)

- Experience designing scalable AI systems and data pipelines

- Experience working with large datasets and distributed systems

- Demonstrated ability to lead AI initiatives and mentor teams
