InstaaCoders - Senior MERN Developer - Node.js/React.js

Key Responsibilities :

Full Stack Development : Design, develop, and maintain both frontend and backend components of web applications using the MERN stack, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.

Backend Engineering (Node.js & Express.js) :

- Build secure, scalable, and efficient RESTful APIs and microservices with Node.js and Express.js.

- Design and manage data schemas and interactions within MongoDB, ensuring data integrity and performance.

- Implement robust business logic, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.

Frontend Engineering (React.js) :

- Develop responsive, intuitive, and high-performance user interfaces using React.js.

- Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into high-quality, reusable frontend components.

- Manage state effectively, integrate with backend APIs, and ensure cross-browser compatibility.

Database Management :

- Work with MongoDB for data storage, including schema design, query optimization, and data modeling.

Code Quality & Collaboration :

- Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and testable code.

- Actively participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.

- Collaborate effectively with product managers, UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and other developers in an Agile environment.

Problem-Solving :

- Troubleshoot complex issues across the full stack, from frontend rendering to backend performance and database interactions.

Mandatory Skills & Experience :

- MERN Stack : 4-6 years of hands-on professional experience as a Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).

- Backend : Strong proficiency in Node.js and Express.js for building scalable backend APIs and services.

- Frontend : Expertise in React.js for developing modern web user interfaces, along with strong JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3 skills.

- Database : Hands-on experience with MongoDB for database design, querying, and management.

- API Development : Proven experience in designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs.

- Version Control : Proficient with Git and collaborative development workflows.

- Problem-Solving : Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills across the entire MERN stack.

Good to Have :

- Familiarity with state management libraries like Redux or Context API.

- Experience with other database types (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) or ORMs.

- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).

- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Experience with unit and integration testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library, Mocha, Chai, Supertest).
