Key Responsibilities :

- Define and implement test strategies, plans, and automation frameworks across projects

- Manage and mentor a team of manual and automation QA engineers

- Set goals, review performance, and support the growth of QA team members

- Plan and allocate resources effectively to meet project timelines

- Design and maintain robust test automation frameworks using Selenium and Java

- Lead API testing efforts using tools like Postman, RestAssured, etc.

- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to align on quality goals

- Oversee defect lifecycle management, triaging, and resolution

- Track key QA metrics and communicate quality status to stakeholders

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in test coverage, process, and efficiency

Required Skills :

- Strong experience in Selenium WebDriver with Java

- Expertise in REST API testing with tools like Postman, TestNG, RestAssured

- Deep understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and automation strategies

- Proven experience leading QA teams, mentoring engineers, and assigning tasks

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and sprint-based delivery models

- Hands-on with JIRA, Git, CI/CD tools (e.g, Jenkins)

- Excellent organizational and leadership skills to manage timelines, people, and quality

- Effective communication for cross-functional collaboration and reporting

Preferred :

- Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms and environments

- Knowledge of security testing and vulnerability identificationss

- Good to have : Hands-on experience or knowledge of Cypress

- ISTQB or equivalent certifications are a plus

Qualifications :

- Bachelors/ Masters in CS/IT or equivalent practical experience
