About the Role :


We are looking for a skilled ServiceNow Developer with over 3 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and customizing ServiceNow ITSM applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ITIL processes and expertise in developing solutions that enhance business workflows and operational efficiency.


Key Responsibilities :


- Design, develop, and customize ServiceNow ITSM applications and modules, including

Incident, Problem, Change, Request, CMDB, and Knowledge Management.

- Develop and maintain client scripts, UI policies, business rules, and integrations leveraging REST and SOAP APIs.

- Configure and manage Service Catalog items, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), notifications, and reports/dashboards to meet business requirements.

- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into effective technical solutions.

- Perform platform administration tasks such as upgrades, patch management, and performance tuning to ensure optimal system operation.

- Ensure all developed solutions comply with ServiceNow best practices, security guidelines, and ITIL standards.

- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), troubleshoot issues, and implement ongoing enhancements and maintenance activities.

- Document technical designs, system configurations, workflows, and customizations for

knowledge sharing and future reference.


Required Skills & Qualifications :


- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development and customization.

- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Request, CMDB, Knowledge).

- Proficiency in scripting languages used within ServiceNow, including client scripts, UI policies,

and business rules.

- Experience with ServiceNow integrations using REST and SOAP APIs.

- Familiarity with Service Catalog configuration, SLA management, notifications, and

reporting/dashboard creation.

- Solid understanding of ITIL processes and best practices.

- Experience performing system administration tasks such as upgrades, patching, and

performance tuning.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

- Ability to document technical designs and configurations clearly and effectively.


Preferred Qualifications :


- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator or Developer certification.

- Experience working in agile environments.
