Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automation API Tester to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in API testing, with proven experience in automating SOAP and REST web services, and will bring a high level of expertise in tools like SOAPUI, Postman, and JMeter for API and performance testing.

Candidates with experience in Cucumber for BDD frameworks are highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for SOAP and REST APIs.

- Design and implement API automation frameworks using Postman and SOAPUI.

- Conduct performance testing using JMeter and provide comprehensive performance reports.

- Collaborate with development teams to understand product requirements and ensure robust API automation coverage.

- Analyze test results, troubleshoot failures, and provide detailed reports and feedback.

- Continuously improve test frameworks and processes for faster delivery and higher quality.

Required Skills :

- 8+ Years of experience in Automation API Testing, with proven experience in automated testing of SOAP, REST, and other web services.

- Expertise in API Automation Testing using Rest Assured or similar tools.

- Hands-on experience with JMeter for Performance Testing.

- Proficient in Postman for API Automation, including the use of Postman Collections and scripting capabilities.

- Knowledge of Cucumber for BDD is a plus.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
