We are looking for a skilled Snowflake Developer with hands-on experience in cloud-based data warehousing, Unix scripting, and data integration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable Snowflake-based data pipelines and ensuring smooth data flow across systems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and optimize Snowflake-based data warehouse solutions to support business analytics and reporting needs.

- Implement ETL processes using Snowflake features such as SnowSQL, Snowpipe, stored procedures, and semi-structured data handling (e.g., JSON, Avro, Parquet).

- Manage and automate data ingestion and transformation from various data sources into Snowflake.

- Develop and maintain Unix shell scripts to support automation and data workflows.

- Work on file transfer mechanisms (NDM, sFTP, Datarouter, etc.) for secure and efficient data exchange.

- Integrate and schedule jobs using tools such as TWS (Tivoli Workload Scheduler) or similar job schedulers.

- Collaborate with data engineering, analytics, and cloud teams to ensure robust and scalable data solutions.

- Troubleshoot performance issues and optimize queries for efficiency.

Mandatory Skills :

- Strong understanding of Snowflake architecture and hands-on experience with its advanced features.

- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake including SnowSQL, COPY command, stored procedures, Snowpipe, and semi-structured data loading (Avro, Parquet).

- Proficiency in SQL, Unix, and advanced Unix shell scripting.

- Experience with file transfer mechanisms such as NDM, sFTP, Datarouter.

- Knowledge of scheduling tools like TWS (Tivoli Workload Scheduler).

Preferred Skills :

- Snowflake Certification (Developer or Architect level preferred).

- Experience in data warehouse design, optimization, and performance tuning.

- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
