Key Responsibilities :
- Individual contributor to develop Embedded Linux-based SW solutions for O-RAN Cellular base station radios.
- Assist with the definition, development & verification of FW/SW products.
- Establish unit level design, implementation & test strategies.
- Support integration & test and debug software for timely closure.
- Work with the Applications team and customers to provide the necessary support.
Job Requirements :
- 510 years of relevant work experience in OAM (FCAPS).
- BE/B.Tech, M.Tech, or MCA EC/CS preferred.
- Strong coding skills in C, C++11 (STL); knowledge of Python and Shell scripting is a plus.
- Experience on working with O-RAN M-Plane (O-RAN.WG4.MP).
- Proficiency with NetConf, YANG, Sysrepo, Netopeer2.
- Experience working on x86/ARM architecture.
- Build systems experience : CMake.
- Excellent debugging and analysis skills using GDB, GTest, Valgrind, Klocwork, Coverity.
- Comfortable with version control and collaboration tools : Git, Jira, Confluence.
- Strong understanding of multithreading and OS concepts.
- Team player with good communication, documentation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work productively and independently.
Desirable Skills :
- Familiarity with O-RAN WG4.CUS.
- Experience with PetaLinux / OpenEmbedded and Yocto build systems.
- Prior experience in Radio Unit programming.
- Familiarity with cellular wireless protocols (4G/5G).
- Exposure to multi-vendor environments, integrating internal software with Xilinx IP (LPHY, DFE, RFE) and third-party/open-source SW.
