Role Overview :


As a Sr. Video Engineer at INNOMINDS, you will be at the forefront of developing and optimizing video solutions for embedded systems. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers and software developers, to design, implement, and test video processing pipelines. Your work will directly impact the performance and quality of video applications, ensuring a superior user experience for our clients and their customers.


Key Responsibilities :


- Design and implement video processing algorithms and pipelines using C/C++ for embedded platforms.


- Optimize video codecs (H.264, H.265) for performance and efficiency on target hardware.


- Develop and integrate video frameworks such as Gstreamer and FFMPEG into embedded systems.


- Implement and debug video drivers using V4L2 and OpenMAX APIs.


- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize video processing on specific hardware architectures.


- Troubleshoot and resolve video-related issues in embedded systems.


- Contribute to the development of video testing and validation strategies.


Required Skillset :


- Demonstrated proficiency in C/C++ programming for embedded systems.


- Strong understanding of video codecs (H.264, H.265) and video processing algorithms.


- Experience with video frameworks such as Gstreamer and FFMPEG.


- Familiarity with V4L2, OpenMAX, and device driver development in Linux environments.


- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.


- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.


- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
