Job Description :
We are seeking a visionary Robotics Tech Lead / Architect to spearhead the technical design and development of our humanoid robotics platform.
This is a founding leadership role that will define the architecture, set engineering standards, and mentor a high-caliber team building next-generation humanoid robots.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Architect the full-stack robotics system including perception, planning, control, and hardware integration layers.
- Lead end-to-end design and development of humanoid robot software infrastructure using ROS/ROS2.
- Drive technical decision-making on sensor fusion, SLAM, motion planning, and real-time control.
- Define system integration strategies across software, firmware, and mechanical subsystems.
- Collaborate with AI/CV, embedded, and mechanical engineering teams to deliver a cohesive robotic platform.
- Establish coding standards, testing protocols, simulation pipelines, and CI/CD workflows.
- Represent the robotics vertical in client engagements, demos, and technical reviews.
- Mentor and grow a team of senior and junior robotics engineers.
MUST-HAVE SKILLS :
- ROS / ROS2 : Expert-level (mandatory).
- C++ : Expert-level (mandatory).
- System integration across hardware and software layers.
- Control systems design and implementation.
- Sensor fusion (LiDAR, IMU, cameras, encoders).
- Strong understanding of kinematics and dynamics.
GOOD TO HAVE :
- Experience with humanoid or biped robot platforms.
- SLAM research or production deployment.
- Motion planning algorithm design (MoveIt, OMPL, etc.
- Research publications in robotics or related fields.
- Contributions to open-source robotics projects.
- Simulation experience with Gazebo or NVIDIA Isaac Sim.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :
- Tech or PhD in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Tech with exceptional industry track record may be considered.
