Job Title : Infrastructure Specialist System Administration

Shift : US EST Time Zone

About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Specialist with strong technical expertise across system administration and IT infrastructure.

The role involves working across hardware, system software, application environments, and coordinating with procurement and finance functions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Manage and maintain IT infrastructure (servers, systems, hardware)

- Administer system software (Linux/Windows environments)

- Support application environments and adhoc reporting systems

- Coordinate with procurement/vendors for IT requirements

- Work with finance teams for budgeting and cost tracking

- Ensure smooth knowledge transfer from existing team member (transition role)

- Monitor system performance, security, and uptime

Required Skills :

- 7 to 9 years of experience in System Administration / IT Infrastructure

- Strong expertise in Linux / Windows Server Administration

- Good knowledge of Networking (DNS, DHCP, VPN)

- Experience in Application Support / Production Support

- Exposure to IT Procurement / Vendor Coordination

- Basic understanding of IT Financial Processes

- Ability to work independently and handle cross-functional responsibilities

Additional Requirements :

- Must be comfortable working in US EST shift

- Strong communication & stakeholder management skills

- Ability to quickly take ownership during transition phase

Good to Have :

- Cloud platforms (AWS / Azure)

- Virtualization (VMware / Hyper-V)

- Experience in enterprise environments (preferred)
