We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Managed Services Presales Consultant who can partner with sales teams to design, position, and propose end-to-end infrastructure and managed services solutions. The role requires strong technical depth, customer-facing expertise, and the ability to translate complex infrastructure requirements into compelling, value-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct in-depth technical assessments of customer IT environments to identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities
- Design Infrastructure Managed Services solutions covering compute, storage, network, security, and cloud operations
- Develop and deliver technical presentations, solution walkthroughs, and product demonstrations to customers
- Prepare and review technical proposals, solution architectures, RFP/RFI responses, and costing inputs
- Provide pre-sales technical support to sales teams, including solution positioning and technical enablement
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers by aligning solutions with business, operational, and compliance needs
- Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to provide market feedback and influence roadmap
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with OEMs, partners, and their presales/sales teams to ensure optimal support, pricing, and solution design
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive offerings
- Participate in industry events, customer workshops, and conferences to support demand generation and brand visibility
Required Skills & Experience :
Technical Expertise :
- Strong understanding of Infrastructure Managed Services including operations, monitoring, SLAs, and support models
- Hands-on experience across Data Center Infrastructure :
1. Compute (VMware / Hyper-V / Linux / Windows)
2. Storage (SAN, NAS, backup & DR)
3. Networking (LAN/WAN, firewalls, load balancers)
- Working knowledge of Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and hybrid infrastructure models
- Familiarity with ITSM processes (Incident, Change, Problem, Capacity Management)
- Understanding of security, compliance, and governance considerations in managed services
Presales & Customer Engagement :
- Proven experience handling RFPs/RFIs, solution design, and technical documentation
- Strong presentation, demonstration, and storytelling skills for customer engagements
- Ability to articulate value propositions, ROI, and operational benefits of managed services
- Excellent relationship-management skills with OEMs and technology partners
Soft Skills :
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work closely with sales, delivery, and leadership teams
- Commercial awareness and solution-oriented mindset
- Willingness to travel for customer meetings and industry events as required
Preferred (Good to Have) :
- Certifications from OEMs or Cloud providers (VMware, Microsoft, AWS, Cisco, etc.)
- Experience in large enterprise or multi-vendor environments
- Exposure to automation, observability, or AIOps tools
