Job Summary :
We are seeking a highly experienced Infrastructure Lead to manage critical infrastructure initiatives with a strong focus on Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) closure, patch management, and enterprise platform operations.
The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in OpenShift, Linux systems, and network infrastructure, along with proven leadership abilities to guide a high-performing infrastructure team.
Key Responsibilities :
- Define and enforce best practices for infrastructure design, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure projects with organizational objectives.
- Design, document, and execute Data Center Disaster Recovery (DC DR) drills, ensuring business continuity and infrastructure resilience.
- Assess risks and develop contingency strategies for critical infrastructure components.
- Oversee installation, configuration, and lifecycle management of servers, containers, and virtualization platforms.
- Ensure infrastructure installations meet compliance, scalability, and performance requirements.
- Manage high-availability and failover mechanisms for production systems.
- Lead the planning, scheduling, and application of patches across operating systems, middleware, and critical applications.
- Maintain systems in a secure and updated state by ensuring timely patch deployment based on vendor advisories and compliance mandates.
- Coordinate with security teams to interpret Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) results.
- Prioritize, remediate, and document VAPT findings in alignment with internal and external compliance standards.
- Implement infrastructure-level security controls and hardening procedures.
Must-Have Technical Skills :
- Proficient in IBM Cloud Pak for Integration, including deployment, lifecycle management, and integration with enterprise systems.
- Experience upgrading and maintaining Red Hat Virtualization Manager (RHVM).
- Strong understanding of virtualization technologies and hypervisors (KVM, VMware, etc.
- Advanced proficiency in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) or similar distributions.
- Configuration, performance tuning, log analysis, and troubleshooting.
Sound knowledge of networking fundamentals, including :
- TCP/IP
- DNS
- Routing and switching
- VPNs and firewalls
- Proficiency in Bash, Python, or Perl for automating administrative tasks and system monitoring.
- Familiarity with infrastructure automation tools like Ansible or Terraform is a plus
