Role Objective :

We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Infrastructure Lead to drive our cloud architecture, DevOps practices, database reliability, and platform scalability across all business units. This role is critical to our technology evolution, ensuring systems are secure, highly available, auto-scalable, and resilient across web, mobile, and API platforms.

You will own the end-to-end infrastructure ecosystem, including AWS/GCP environments, CI/CD pipelines, microservices architecture enablement, database performance, and fail-safe mechanisms. The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in cloud platforms, distributed systems, automation, and enterprise-grade security compliance.

Key Responsibilities :

- Define and implement cloud and infrastructure strategy across projects and products

- Manage and optimize AWS and GCP environments (compute, storage, networking, IAM)

- Design and enable scalable microservices architecture, ensuring service reliability and isolation

- Implement auto-scaling, load balancing, and high-availability architectures

- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for efficient and reliable deployments

- Drive infrastructure automation using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)

- Own database architecture and reliability (DBA responsibilities) :

a. Performance tuning and query optimization

b. Backup, replication, and disaster recovery strategies

c. High availability and failover mechanisms

- Implement and enforce cloud security and compliance practices :

a. IAM, access control, encryption

b. Adherence to standards like ISO 27001, SOC 2

c. Vulnerability and risk management

- Establish backup, disaster recovery, and fail-safe systems for business continuity

- Set up and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (CloudWatch, Prometheus,
Grafana)

- Optimize cloud cost and resource utilization

- Collaborate closely with :

a. Tech Leads (Platform & Mobile)

b. QA Lead

c. Project Managers

- Ensure environment readiness across dev, QA, and production

- Troubleshoot and resolve production and infrastructure issues proactively

- Maintain documentation for architecture, deployments, and recovery processes.

Skills Required :

- 8 to 12 years of experience in Cloud Infrastructure / DevOps / SRE / DBA roles

- Strong hands-on expertise in :

a. AWS and GCP services (EC2, RDS, S3, VPC, IAM, GKE, Cloud Run, etc.)

b. CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)

- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / CloudFormation)

Strong understanding of :

- Microservices architecture and distributed systems

- Auto-scaling, load balancing, and high availability design

- Networking (VPC, DNS, load balancers)

Strong database expertise :

- RDBMS (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and/or NoSQL systems

- Query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning

- Backup, replication, and disaster recovery

Experience with :

- Cloud security best practices and compliance standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2)

- Containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)

- Monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana)

Proven ability to :

- Manage production-scale, high-traffic systems

- Drive cost optimization and governance

- Work across multiple teams and projects

- Improve system reliability, scalability, and performance
