Role Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Infrastructure, Cloud, and Email Security Engineer to safeguard our digital ecosystem against evolving cyber threats.

In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end security architecture of our hybrid cloud infrastructure and corporate communication channels.

You will leverage deep technical expertise in Proofpoint and Cloud Security frameworks to mitigate risks associated with data loss, malicious email campaigns, and unauthorized infrastructure access.

This position requires a proactive security professional who can implement robust Data Loss Prevention (DLP) strategies while ensuring the resilience of our multi-cloud environments.

As a senior member of the security team, you will act as a subject matter expert for infrastructure hardening and secure cloud migrations.

Responsibilities:

- Infrastructure Hardening: Design and implement security controls for physical and virtualized infrastructure to prevent unauthorized access and data breaches.

- Cloud Security Orchestration: Architect and govern security policies across multi-cloud environments, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.

- Email Security Governance: Manage and optimize Proofpoint or similar gateway solutions to defend against phishing, business email compromise (BEC), and advanced persistent threats.

- DLP Implementation: Design and maintain Data Loss Prevention (DLP) strategies to protect sensitive organizational data across endpoints, network, and cloud storage.

- Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular security assessments of cloud workloads and infrastructure components to identify and remediate configuration drifts.

- Threat Mitigation: Analyze email headers and cloud logs to investigate security incidents and implement proactive blocking measures.

- Security Policy Development: Define and enforce security baselines for server deployments, network configurations, and cloud identity management.

- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with IT operations and DevOps teams to integrate security into the infrastructure lifecycle and deployment pipelines.

- Incident Response: Act as a technical lead during security incidents, performing root cause analysis and implementing long-term remediation steps.

- Continuous Monitoring: Utilize security monitoring tools to maintain real-time visibility into the security posture of the cloud and email infrastructure.

Technical Requirements:

- Domain Expertise: 6+ years of hands-on experience in Infrastructure Security, Cloud Security, and Email Security.

- Security Platforms: Expert-level proficiency in Proofpoint for email protection and targeted attack defense.

- Cloud Mastery: Strong technical knowledge of security configurations within AWS, Azure, or GCP environments.

- Data Protection: Advanced experience in configuring and managing DLP (Data Loss Prevention) tools and policies.

- Networking Security: Deep understanding of VNET/VPC security, firewalls, and secure access service edge (SASE) concepts.

- Compliance Standards: Familiarity with global security frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC2, or NIST.

Preferred Skills:

- Advanced Certifications: CISSP, CCSP, or specialized Proofpoint/Cloud security certifications.

- Automation: Experience using scripting (Python/PowerShell) or IaC (Terraform) to automate security configuration and monitoring.

- Identity Management: Strong grasp of IAM, MFA, and Single Sign-On (SSO) integrations within cloud and email platforms.

- Problem Solving: Exceptional analytical skills to deconstruct complex security threats into actionable remediation plans.

- Communication: Ability to articulate security risks and mitigation strategies to both technical and non-technical leadership
