Job description :

We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Architect to lead architecture design, solution implementation, and resource management across key infrastructure projects.

This is a remote role based in the United States, responsible for end-to-end project delivery, collaborating closely with internal teams and external vendors to ensure successful infrastructure modernization, scalability, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the architecture design and implementation of infrastructure solutions including cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments.

- Own end-to-end project lifecycle from requirements gathering, solution design, to deployment and operational handoff.

- Manage and coordinate technical resources, ensuring timely delivery of infrastructure projects aligned with business goals.

- Provide technical leadership on networking, virtualization, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), storage, and security architecture.

- Partner with cross-functional teams including DevOps, Security, and Application teams to drive infrastructure readiness.

- Evaluate and recommend tools, platforms, and best practices for modern infrastructure management.

- Collaborate with vendors and third-party service providers on solution delivery, escalations, and optimization.

- Maintain detailed documentation of infrastructure designs, configurations, and operational guidelines.

- Monitor emerging infrastructure trends and recommend improvements aligned with industry best practices.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 8+ years of hands-on experience in infrastructure architecture and implementation.

- Proven track record of leading infrastructure delivery projects in cloud and hybrid environments.

- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP), virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), and networking (firewalls, VPNs, load balancers).

- Experience with infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, or similar).

- Familiarity with ITIL processes, incident/change management, and resource planning.

- Strong project management skills; ability to manage multiple infrastructure streams simultaneously.

- Excellent communication skills to work with cross-functional teams and leadership in remote settings.

- Experience in vendor management and external resource coordination.

- Ability to document architecture, diagrams, and technical solutions clearly
